I will admit I was expecting the place to be a little bigger from the way my friends had described it, less a cavern and more a cave, but it is actually a pretty good size for the audience they are likely to draw
The security were polite and efficient, and despite it being a dry bar (the main event of the night was popular with the under 16's) the bar staff were friendly and capable. In general the Cavern seems to stand up to its reputation as one of Devon's premier music venues
